Pioneer Woman Pumpkin Bread is a classic quick bread made with pumpkin puree, spices, and a touch of sweetness. This bread is moist, fragrant, and full of autumn flavors, making it an ideal comfort food for cooler weather.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and sugar. Mix well until smooth.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Add water and stir until smooth.
  5. Pour into Pan: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake the Bread: Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
