Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of brownie mix (plus ingredients required on the box)
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Lollipop sticks
- Assorted toppings (sprinkles, crushed nuts, coconut flakes, etc.)
Instructions
- Bake the Brownies: Follow the instructions on the brownie mix box to bake the brownies. Allow them to cool completely.
- Prepare the Brownie Balls: Crumble the cooled brownies into a large bowl. Use your hands to form small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the Brownie Balls: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up the brownie balls.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
- Insert the Sticks: Remove the brownie balls from the fridge. Dip the tip of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert it halfway into a brownie ball. This helps secure the stick to the brownie.
- Coat the Brownie Pops: Dip each brownie ball into the melted chocolate, gently tapping off excess chocolate. If desired, immediately sprinkle with toppings before the chocolate sets.
- Set the Pops: Place the chocolate-coated brownie pops upright in a styrofoam block or a similar holder. Allow the chocolate to set completely at room temperature or in the fridge.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once set, your Pioneer Woman Brownie Pops are ready to serve. Enjoy!
