Description

Pioneer Woman 7-Up Biscuits are a unique twist on traditional biscuits, incorporating the effervescence of 7-Up soda to create a light and airy texture. Unlike classic biscuits that rely heavily on baking powder, these biscuits use the soda’s carbonation for an extra lift, resulting in a soft, tender crumb that’s perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Bisquick mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup 7-Up soda
  • ½ cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking dish by pouring melted butter into the bottom.
  2. Combine Bisquick mix and sour cream in a large bowl, mixing until the dough becomes crumbly.
  3. Pour in the 7-Up and gently mix until a soft dough forms. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead lightly. Pat the dough out to about 1-inch thickness.
  5. Cut the biscuits using a round cutter and place them in the buttered baking dish.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
