  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: Bread crumbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Whisk in flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  4. Gradually add milk and heavy cream, whisking continuously until smooth.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in mustard powder, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  7. Remove the saucepan from heat and add shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.
