- 200g caster sugar
- 200g unsalted butter (softened)
- 3 large eggs

- 50g plain flour
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 20cm (8-inch) round cake tin.
- Mix Butter and Sugar: Cream the softened butter and caster sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs and Almond Extract: Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the almond extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the ground almonds, baking powder, and plain flour.
